Pavel Svoboda byl malíř, který celý svůj život působil také jako pedagog. Malířství studoval soukromě a byl členem Syndikátu výtvarných umělců v Praze. Za uměleckou tvorbu obdržel v roce 1993 Cenu Masarykovy akademie umění.

Jeho dílo se soustředilo především na dvě hlavní témata – krajinu Vysočiny a pražská zákoutí. Typická je pro něj osobitá barevnost, citlivá práce se světlem a svébytné zachycení nezaměnitelného okamžiku.

Pavel Svoboda war ein Maler, der zeitlebens auch als Lehrer tätig war. Er studierte privat Malerei und war Mitglied des Syndikats Bildender Künstler in Prag. 1993 erhielt er für sein künstlerisches Werk den Masaryk-Preis der Kunstakademie.

Seine Arbeiten konzentrierten sich hauptsächlich auf zwei Hauptthemen – die Landschaft des Prager Hochlandes und die Ecken Prags. Er zeichnet sich durch seine unverwechselbare Farbgebung, seinen sensiblen Umgang mit Licht und seine einzigartige Erfassung des unverwechselbaren Moments aus.

Pavel Svoboda was a painter who also worked as a teacher throughout his life. He studied painting privately and was a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists in Prague. For his artistic work received he in 1993 the Masaryk Academy of Arts Award.

His work focused primarily on two main themes – the landscape of the Highlands and the corners of Prague. He is characterized by his distinctive colour, sensitive work with light, and his unique capture of an unmistakable moment.
